Holidays, Moving, Travel, Apartments, Oh my!

My family and I have been super busy here lately. My dh was transferred to another state and I'm to join him at the end of the year. I wanted to get some art projects and handmade Christmas cards ready but I'm not sure I'll have time this year. ughhhh. I'm just going to have to fit it in. I woke up at 4:00 am today and just laid there thinking I'd go back to sleep. I should have just removed myself from the bed and gone to the studio and started work. I have a ton of things I probably could just dive into and at least get started.

Doing my artwork is the most relaxing time I could spend and it's got to be a good thing right? Especially now when life is the most stressful. so.... I'm going to ride my bike and if I'm not dead tired by then (thinking it really should give me a little more energy for the rest of the day) I'll do some card creating and plan out the next painting and at list get something on canvas.

Now what to do?

I am cautiously upbeat today about creating more content for this blog. Looked through several that appeared in "Artful Blogging" which really gets things churning in my imagination. I have tons of stuff to share and will now be working on the process of getting it in the blog. This is something I definitely want to have available to share with friends and coworkers that are interested in what I'm doing but are not close enough to see my studio. Which is currently so tidy and I can barely walk in there. We're in the process of trying to sell our home so I haven't been able to spread out my ideas which I need to put my artwork together. I always get hung up on the technical stuff (procrastination) which then sits idle until I've forgotten what I wanted to do with it in the first place. Evil procrastination with not stop the drive to accomplishment!

I have plans for photos, sewing projects, calligraphy, painting and college to share.
